What are the differences between dB Zero and dB One drumheads?

dB Zero and dB One heads are both low volume drumhead solutions, with a few differences:

  • EVANS dB Zero drumheads reduce the volume to the lowest level possible, offering a solution for quiet practicing.
  • EVANS dB One drumheads also reduce the volume, but only by about 80%. This, combined with dB One’s kinetic transfer foam patches, allows dB One to maintain some of the natural tone and feel of an acoustic drum kit. dB One snare batter heads also feature a simulated snare wire, so the snare sounds more natural without needing to use the snare wires on your drum.
