For XPND, the main decision is whether you want one row of pedals or two. XPND 1 is ideal if you typically run 7–8 standard pedals and prefer a compact setup. If your needs are bigger, or you expect your rig to grow, XPND 2 gives you two rows, with significantly more room for expansion. Think about how many pedals you use now, but also where your setup is headed. Choose the board that fits your current rig comfortably, with enough breathing room for whatever comes next.
